Gotta lose weight

I went to the doctor a few weeks ago and my blood tests came back pretty bad. My cholesterol is high and my triglycerides are through the roof. They are supposed to be between 100 and 150 and mine are 554 (yikes!). So I started a diet right away (after having a huge cheeseburger the night I found out ... just to say goodbye *L*) I'm a little disappointed with my results. I weighed myself Wednesday morning and had lost 1.5 lbs. I try to tell myself that at least I lost something but the first week should be higher than that. When I did Weight Watchers after my daughter was born I lost 7 lbs the first week. And I made things worse by weighing myself Monday and being down 3 lbs. Somehow in 2 days I added 1.5 back on : ( I've been so much better about what I eat, not perfect but much much better. I had hoped for at least 3 lbs or 4 lbs and only had 1.5 lbs lost. Oh, well...can't change the past, you can only work harder in the future, right? Wish me luck.
